VDU students visit Hegelmann Logistics – introduction to logistics

Last week, Hegelmann Logistics welcomed a group of students from Vytautas Magnus University Agriculture Academy, Faculty of Bioeconomy Development, who are studying in the Logistics and Trade program. 

The students had the opportunity to get a closer look at the operations of a modern logistics center and to learn more about warehousing, transportation, and goods flow management processes. Hegelmann Logistics Director, Andrius Š., presented how advanced technologies help optimize processes and ensure the highest quality of services.

During the visit, the students also engaged in discussions with Hegelmann managers, who shared their insights about industry challenges, career opportunities, and the key skills needed to succeed in this fast-changing field.

 “We have been cooperating with UAB Hegelmann Logistics for many years, and each visit becomes a meaningful learning experience for our students. We are glad that the company is open to sharing its knowledge, innovations, and practical examples. Such meetings help students better understand how real businesses operate and motivate them to grow professionally,” said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Milita Vienažindienė, Head of the Department of Business and Rural Development Management at Vytautas Magnus University Agriculture Academy, who organizes student visits to Hegelmann Logistics.
